When in 'swivel' mode front wheel turns wildly making it difficult to control and even stops the buggy when the wheel 'stick' at right angles to the buggy

In normal use, the front wheel needs to swivel freely - then this stroller's drive is easy and manageable with one hand (we know from extensive use with 2 kids and shopping on board).

The front wheel normally can not collide with the car. If the wheel assembly / lock is not correctly inserted, it can lock / unlock uncontrolled: try to disengage and mount the front wheel unit again.

Unsufficient tire pressure can also detoriate the drive.

The front wheel doesn't turn, is that how supposed to be?

If you have model 9109CT or 9139CT, it has a lock for the swivel action. Instructions for releasing the lock are included in this pdf file:

My stroller wheels wont swivel only going in right directiin dey work when im driving it n try to turn dey wont swivel but when I go in right direction dey drive perfect

The front wheels clip off. Take them off and wash in hot soapy water then rinse in fresh water. Clean the metal pin the wheels clip to and swivel on with a rag. A light spray of silicon lubricant will help. The usual Bee problem is they swivel too easily and people fit rubber washers on the metal pin to dampen it.

Hello i have the bebe car multipla at (vogue color) its says underneat the seat 2005..i am wondering if the wheels can swivel more then thez do thez just seem to go a lill ways ,,has this was bough second...

Whereas the Multipla chassis had front wheels that could swivel by 360 degrees, the Multipla AT had steerable front wheels designed to turn in parallel with each other, by several degrees in either direction, when set in 'steering' mode, or to remain fixed, when in 'fixed' mode, the mode being controlled by a plastic button on the side arm. A set of instructions relevant to your particular model is available from [email protected].

The front wheel on my quinny buzz 3 hardly moves and makes steering the pram very difficult. Especially on tiled floors, such as shopping centres. The wheel isn't locked, so it's on the swivel wheel...

Hi,

The best thing to do is to remove the front wheel (depress the black buttons either side of the front axle and pull!) then completely clean the wheel assembly in warm water and a SMALL amount of gentle detergent, then dry completely, apply a small amount of vaseline or similar, then replace. This should help.

hi we had the same problem with our p&t sports buggy, brand new out of the box the front wheel kept locking, driving me mad! we contacted our supplier, kiddicare.com, who were extremely helpful and sent out a "front wheel swivel/fixed catch (screw fixing)" - it has WORKED WONDERS! the buggy is now smooth and easy to handle. you have to remove the old catch pin which can be a bit of a fiddle (when we got the old pin out it was a rivet fixing and very rusty) but only took us 10 minutes. highly recommended if you can get hold of one of these new screw fix pins, which have obviously been brought out to fix a common fault which p&t can't be bothered to recall lots of buggies and fix themselves...... ;)"

I've made contact with the store I've bought my e3 from, now, waiting to hear from them about this 'fix screw'. hopefully it'll solve our probs!
Good luck

Problems with releasing front wheel lock

I have just fixed my stroller which had a similar problem. The wheel was still swivelling but it was sticking slightly. I noticed that the pin that locks the wheel in place was half out and therefore the wheel was getting caught on it. I undid the nut that holds the end of the wheel lock cable in place and tightened this as tight as I could which pulls the pin back into place (making sure that the switch is in swivel position). I then put the washer and nut back on (making sure cable was as tight as possible).
