Start machine and let's water in for few seconds then makes screeching noise and stops code F08 on display any ideas to what may be problem

Indesit or Hotpoint washing machine flashing 8 times or displaying error code F08 usually indicate "Heater relay can't be activated" or "heater relay stuck".
The heater relay on these machines (as at time of writing) is on the pcb, the main control board at the back of the machine. Sometimes they can get jammed, and freed with a gentle tap. Other causes of this fault listed are "check pressure switch, heater & module connections". Therefore this isn't an easy diy fix and if you don't know what a relay is or looks like it's best to get in an engineer for this fault.
Some descriptions on various models also still say "heater relay", or "heater relay can't be activated", or "heater relay stuck", but also add, "check pressure switch connections for heater, wiring and module connections".

Indesit 1200 spin wie127 what does the error code f-08 mean.

helo sir
F08 means Wash Heater Relay Stuck (signalled in presence of empty) or pressure switch
stuck on Full (simultaneously empty and full)
• Check the efficiency of J3 connector contact on the card
• Check pressure switch status checking J3 wiring connector pins 2 and 4
ohm continuity (it must only be present with tub empty) and pins 2 and 3
ohm continuity (it must only be present with water in the drum) and pins 2
and 1 ohm continuity (it must only be present with water in the tub above
normal level, at least halfway up door glass).
• Check wiring J3/pressure switch
• Check connection of heating element J3 connector pins 5 and 6.
• Replace pressure switch

Hi I have a hotpoint wf630 washing machine and it keeps flashing error codes f08. Could you tell me what this codes means. many thanks, Stuart

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Most Hotpoint, Ariston and Indesit (who make the other two) use similar fault codes. Although I cannot confirm it on your particular machine, f08 means there is a problem with the heater/its relay/its control. Often a cure is to re-seat the cables/wiring to and from these items.
REMOVE POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANYTHING OF COURSE.
Good luck,

John C

Fault code h20 flashing on indisit wie127 washing machine

H20 is indicating a problem with the incoming water supply to washer.
Check the inlet hose/s for kinks or other restriction, ensure that you have a good pressure to the washer, make sure tap/s are fully turned on.
If all o/k,then could be a problem with the inlet valve/s
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Indesit w127 error code f-08

Error F08 is indicating that the heater relay is stuck or cannot be activated or the contact has welded in the relay.
The only thing u can do yourself, is to check that the heater is o/k, if u can determine that it is , then u have no option other thancalling an engineer.out.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
