The screen on my Wii game is frozen and even if I unplug it, it just goes back to the same frozen screen. Please help!

Open up the back of the Wii remote and hold down the small red button by the batteries. I had this problem when I bought a second-hand remote and even the reset trick didn't work. If this continues to happen, please help both of us!

Had the same problem. My fix was to unplug the cable from the back of the WII that connects to your TV and plug it back in. If that still doesn't work, unplug it again and look inside the plug to make sure none of the contacts are bent.

Disconect all the wires from the unit and leave for atleast five minutes. You need to even unplug the power cord from the recepticle in the wall or power bar. The unit should reset itself and hopefully turn back on clear of what was locked on.

go to your Wii settings and turn off the internet so there's no way to get to NBA Today. Then the sychronize part is excluded when you start loading to play.Sorry, but you can't play online though

Unplug your wii. Then plug it back in.

It seems that your wii console is frozen it could either be the disc inside. If it is not the disc then I would contact Nintendo.

Okay, first off, NEVER unplug your wii, even when it freezes. This may cause it to short out and will make the problem worse. There is a way you can turn the Wii off while it is in the frozen state.
Hold down the power button for a maximum of 15 seconds, and this will kill the power of the wii without damaging it.

Okay, now to fix the problem: The best thing you can try is to reformat your wii. If this doesn't work, then check to see if it's a glitch in the game itself. Because if this problem doesn't happen on other games, then that could be the problem. Check on the web to see if anyone else is having the same delema with that game, then compare problems.
