It's a problem with your internet connection. You have to watch videos on the YouTube app and not on Safari because iPods don't have Flash player installed.

ipod touch has a light piece of plastic on bottom where it connects to the dock youtube has a video on how to remove it softly with a razor blade and once it is removed it will work properly although to be played through stereo i must have my ipod touch 4th gen on airplane mode
The problem is with the backlight coil. I just successfully repaired a nano 6th the other night, I used a coil from a ipod touch 4th gen. I am still testing it out to make sure coil is compatible, I will be making a video showing the repair to post on youtube... So far I have found no one else who has made this repair, so I hope my video will help some people out...
There 2 layers , one is digitizer or called touch and the other is the screen/ the same as LCD .. And both can be replaced .but they are somehow expensive but worth changing them. Don't change it yourself or if your curious YouTube replacing the digitizer or the screen.
