I had the same problem and it was the pick-up roller that was at fault. You can buy a new one for less than 20GBP or do what I did. Take the old one out and reverse the rubber. There are plenty of online tutorials on how to change the pick-up roller - the first one you remove. It's a two minute job. Reversing the rubber is easy. Just prize the inner clip out of the roller and put the rubber back on with the shiny side out. It worked first time and no more print errors.
