Hello, I have not bought this hood,yet im falmliar with Miele appliances and have found them to be the cream of the crop,its hard to beat the German engineering and among the top German brands. Miele/Bosch/Gaggenau Meile is the best, its like cars a BMW is a fine car but MERCEDES BENZ is so much better,in my oponion Meile is the Mercedes of appliances.
Remove the grease filters. This will expose the two screws that hold the lamps in. Turn the screws anti clockwise until the lamps drop a little. Twist the lamps gently anticlockwise to release them from the fittings. My instruction manual says reverse the procedure to insert new lamps. Haha. Good luck and be careful.
I had a lot of trouble getting the lamps back in. So much so that I have somehow damaged the fittings or wiring and now have to have a repairman out.... looking at $150 plus just because a light blew!
