Try to reset the copier. Enter buttons clear, exposure, clear, exposure, the display will blank, enter 14, press print button, then clear several times to get out. This will reset the machine. Would ib be possible also if you can provide me the number showing on the screen.

Hi. Thank you for your reply. The error number should accompany by a number. Could you check further the error that you are getting. Example of error message is L1 or L1-00 or H4.
Hi. You might have hit the scan lock on the front of the machine by accident. Look on the front , bottom side of the scanner where the paper comes out. You will see a latch that is used for shipping the machine that is more than likely locked. Thats what causes an L1 90 percent of the time. Just slide it to the unlocked position or take a small screw driver and remove it and throw it away. You can put a piece of tape over the opening to keep dust and moisture out.

Where are buttons clear and exposure? nothing like that on my copier. I'm where i was. Need more detail on how to do these things. Help !
As the read out blinks, it alternates between an L and a 1 but not both together. The copier also makes a clicking noise every few seconds which wasn't there before.
The scan lock was the problem. The copier is working again. thank you.
