When the headset is plugged in the red light will come on for about 10 sec and then go off, however when you try to pair it to the ps3 nothing happens. you have to put headset into pairing mode ...usually by holding power button for a few secs until it flashes blue/red then have the PS3 search and it should find it ..the default password should be 0000 ...check manufacturer's website for full instructions on how to pair if this doesnt help...i would tell you more but would need headset model number

Hold the power button for 6-10 seconds when ps3 is searching- light will flash red and blue on the headset-- good luck getting it to work in Black Ops though.

turn the device off (red LED flashes) then hold the button for atleast 10 seconds until both BLUE and RED LED flash aternatively... not just blue, pairing code is 0000

Move the call control button up or down, the indicator light will flash blue if it's paired or blue and red. If it flashes blue and red you need to pair phone with the headset. the passkey is 0000.
