Take the radio out and you will find a serial number on it and call the dealer and they will give you a code to activate it, your manual will tell ya how to relearn the radio with the new code.
This happens every time the battery goes dead.
You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code.
We had the same problem. As advised from another website, we unhooked the battery and hooked the cables together for about 10 minutes. This reset the radio and allowed us to put in the 5-digit code. Now we're jammin'!
you need to take the neg (-) battery cable off to reset the radio. you can only enter the radio code 3 times incorrectly than it will lock up. i think you can pull the back up fuse from the under hood fuse box for 10 seconds and that will also reset it.
I had same problem with my 97 Acura 3.0cl and i called the Honda dealer they will ask your serial, Vin, model and milage # and then they will give u the code.
