There are a few issues that may cause leakage from the oil pan. If it's leaking from the sump plug, that is the bolt you'd removed to change the oil, the seal could be old and/or cracked, or the bolt might be loose. Getting an oil change and asking for the sump plug to be replaced should be relatively inexpensive.
The other likely possibilities are the oil pan seal is cracked, the bolts holding on the oil pan somehow loosened, or the car was driven over or dropped onto some large, hard debris, and the oil pan itself got bent.
If it's not easy to determine where the oil is leaking from when looking under the car, it could also be from somewhere else in the engine, and dripping down onto the oil pan.
In any case, a reputable shop put the car on a lift to get a good look at the problem, and give you a repair estimate.
Well first make sure you oil level is correct and your in the safe level, Take a look at the oil filter is it leaking there or just tighen it, then check the oil drain plug is it tight and is it leaking there it may need a oil drain plug gasket. you also need to look at the oil sending unit they can leak also. and how long ago did you change the oil oil filter do come loose sometimes
Arh, you are most likely suffering from Camshaft cover oil seal problems. It is very common and causes the oil to drip on to the exhaust giving fumes and sometimes smoke if you've been thrashing it?
To solve the problem :
Remove camshaft covers both sides. Take out the little oil seals that the cover securing studs go through. They are about 1/2" across and pop into the holes that the stud and nut secure the cam cover on. You will notice the old ones to be hard and mostly cracked. Replace the cam cover gasget both sides as well. This should solve your issue. Remember not to tighten the cam cover nuts up too tight otherwise you will squash the new seals between the cover and metal seal cup they sit in. This will cause them to leak again if you do that. Check out the net for correct torque settings for the Camcover retaining nuts. You can buy the cam cover oil seals and gaskets easy on line.
check your transmission fluid levels they may be low, and replace the spark plugs you know give it a good tune up! wires, air filter, fluids, clean throttle body, IAC sensor, check for Vacuum leaks; like cracked hoses that lead to your map sensor or EGR valve etc.
I had my crankshaft pull oil seal chanfed years ago forvthe same thing if you have a puller to remove the pully the oil seal is easy to remove a screwdriver and a sorf mallet will change it
easy to change u just need a special tool for removed on front of motor at right of oil filter its look like a coolant sensor or a little bottle with a connetor removed the connector and take the tool to remove
