So there's a notice that keeps popping up on my laptop for and it states "System Information: This software is malfunctioning. Please reboot the computer and try again. If the problem persists, please close all running programs and reinstall Acer eData Security Management." And it'll pop up like 10 times while im on my laptop. I don't even know what Acer eData Security Management is, let alone know how to reinstall it. Little help please? :)
Ok that is just a program that comes with the Acer laptops, it really is Useless and I dont use it on my computer, its part of the acer e management , e recovery, and etc programs that acer made. To fix this you can uninstall it under the ADD/remove programs or if you want to keep it you can then goto the acer website and under support put your model number in and download that particular software again and it might fix itself if there where some type of missing files on that particular software. Secondly if this is a vista machine it could be the software is not compatible and it causes the OS to crash which then comes with that error to the user and never goes away . Hope my answer gets you closer to a solution.

you should have taken same back to the store upon initial headache. sounds like a spyware/malware problem, or a virus trojan. run the anti virus program. you can find the Acer e data by doing a Search for same, look on the right toolbar for their icon.
