I would take the phone's battery out, take the sim card out and let it sit for a couple of hours inside of a bowl of rice. This will make sure that ALL moisture has been extracted from the phone. In fact, if you can let it sit for a couple of days.. that would do the trick. Reinsert Sim Card, Battery and test.

It may be stuck in a mode where it thinks its connected to the computer. Try plugging it into one with USB and then removing it and see if the message goes away.

For soft reset type *#7780# For hard reset type *#7370# and if it ask passcode enter the passcode as 1234 as default.Please backup all your data if you performing hard reset because hard reset deletes all data on your phone like contacts,messages,music,videos and photos
