Yours seems like an Android phone. For
Andorids with the Pattern lock (I assume that's what you meant by grid lock), if you try the wrong pattern 5 times,
you are given the option to use your Gmail Account to unlock and reset
your Android device unlock pattern.
Once you get the prompt for
the Gmail login, use the account that you have set up in your Android
device. This would take you to the option of resetting the unlock
pattern.
Please note that if you have set up the
2-step-verification for Google accounts, your password will not be the
regular Gmail password. You'll have to generate the authorizing password
here: https://www.google.com/accounts/IssuedAuthSubTokens

what if the gmail option doesnt show because my sister had locked it on accident and it doesnt show the gamil option to it and its is the very same phone
I try in wrong pattern 5 times, but there were no given option to use my gmail account, then I try using factory reset and it was not working, i try pressing together the send key,end call keys down volume and power on and my phone scree turn into pink colour,therefore what another ways can help me unlock my vodafone 845 cell phones.
