I called Smooth Fitness and talked to the Service Tech. The oil can symbol is basically a reminder to oil the tracking or underneath treadmill matting. The symbol will go away, from that Service Tech told me. You can also purchase a Silicon Spray(PArt 8300) for a few dollars instead of buying Smooth Fitness's Silicon Oil for about $35.00+.

Jeep Patriot filters change

put a pan below the drain plug drain it open the top first. then take off the oil filter make sure you have old rags can get a little messy i believe that the filter is on the passenger side of the car near the wheel well. put the new filter on put a little bit of oil on the rubber thing on the new filter so it doesn't get stuck. put the plug back in make sure you wernt using synthetic before you should switch back to regular oil after using syntetic or at least thats what im told. put the plug back in on the oil pan. put the oil in the top it should be labled OIL. and make sure you use enough oil. I would also change my air filter too.

at advanced auto stores they will tell you what oil to use and how much by looking at one of the books that they have near the oil they will also tell you the filter size. recycle your old oil when your done.

It is usualy easier to just go to a shop but i love working on my jeep so i do it my self will probly cut down time too but price should be a little cheaper but not much.
good luck
shouldn't need it tho its really easy

I have a Yamaha r6 2006. I just put amsoil 20-50, and now when I shift up in to second or third, the shifter gose up, but dosen't shift. Can this be from my oil?

I use the same oil on my 2009 R6 and haven't had any problems, did you change the oil yourself, maybe has something to do with the shifter arm that was removed for oil filter access, that's where I'd start, that's all I could think of, my bike loves that stuff a noticeable change than regular oil, only thing is once you use it you can't use anythingelse(synthetic), good luck bud

It can be reset with the buttons on the steering wheel by dialing up OIL LIFE and then holding the reset button in until it shows 100%. the reset button looks like an backwards L with an arrow. OR turn key on (engine off) and depress gas pedal to the floor 3 times,

Hi I have gmc Yukon 2002. In my country there is to type of gas Premium 91 and premium 95. What type I should use for my yukon??

Are you in a high elevation? if so you could benefit from premium fuel. Otherwise there is not much to gain for the price. You might get a extra horsepower or two and a tad better MPG. Save your gas money and put it to better use on a synthetic oil change. It will give you better MPG and HP and longer oil life less friction lower heat will make that GMC happy I love my GMC also

I got a 1995 camaro and just got the oil change and smoke is coming from under the hood.

Sounds to me like oil got spilled onto the engine and exhaust manifold. I had to get an oil filler extension to keep that from happening when I changed the oil in my '96. Otherwise; No matter how careful I was, some oil always got spilled and then it would be a few days of driving and some smoking before it all dried up.

Have you looked things over carefully under the bonnet?

Have you looked things over carefully under the bonnet for evidence of a BP event.. Oops! I mean evidence of an oil spell?

Broken Engine oil Dipstick. Don't know how much oil to put in engine. How many Quarts of engine oil does it need.

if you can't detect oil level or usage, there's no way to determine how much oil to put in the car.

you can drain it all and put in "x" amount of oil. but if it uses oil, think about it, how do you know how much to put in if you can't determine the level.

or put in 2 quarts, go to church and hope it's a german car. The pope, being german, loves german cars now. Therefore jesus does too.

How to oil old featherweight

Hi! I love the old Singer sewing machines!! Do you have the user's manual for your machine? The manual has great diagrams showing where to put oil and grease. If you don't, check out http://www.221parts.com/

In the meantime, look for little holes, often with raised edges and put a drop of oil in each. Put a drop of oil wherever metal moves against metal. You'll need to oil inside the head, on the right-hand side where the motor is located (DON'T oil the motor--use grease instead), and also underneath.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Oil pressure shows low (nearly zero) when idling after running for awhile, returns to normal when accelerating

just regular wear...try to use thicker oil like a 10w-30 if ur using a 5w...otherwise its just normal wear keep an eye on level of oil too might be leakin anti freeze into it worst case scenario

Loosten the oil filler cap before putting it away. The tank is pressurized to force oil to the chain. Relieve the pressure before storing. Lou
