Well cyberlink has a lot of different programs. If you didn't get the serial number for your product before you upgraded you will have to repurchase it.

If you have windows 7 32bit, suggest you use the vista 32bit drivers, since 7 can do vista drivers.

If you have windows 7 64bit, suggest you use the vista 64bit drivers, again 7 can do vista drivers.

Base system drivers

Card reader drivers, get it either from HP or Windows update. If you are running Windows 7, use the vista drivers. Just make sure if you are running 7 64, use vista 64 or 7 32 bit, use vista 32.

I have HP Pavilion 9727cl Entertainment notebook. After upgrading to windows 7 from Windows Vista ,it cannot find driver for coprocessor. On HP site they have listed some of their products for which...

haha. very funny. I have upgraded my laptop to windows 7 and am very satisfied with it except for one thing. The scroll keys on the touchpad are no long supported under Windows 7 vs. Vista. So, I was, like you disappointed that this happened. Maybe I should have been satisfied with windows vista, for that part of the computer working under vista but not 7.

I, however, like the windows 7 operating system very much compared to the slower buggier vista operating system.

Good luck on buying new pc or laptop computers that employ windows 7 or above (for the future).

HP calls my HP Pavilion dv9417cl Notebook PC a "Vista PC" and will not support it after I upgraded the OS to Windows 7. Nvidia doesn't appear to be of any help either. windows auto update keeps...

You should of used the Windows 7 Advisor before upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista. The advisor will indicate the hardware and software updates and changes you'll need before performing the upgrade. If you've already installed Windows 7, you can go to the Microsoft Update page and see what kind of updates you need for Windows 7 to work in you laptop. Also, go to the HP website and check the drivers download page for your computer with Window 7 installed, download the drivers, and then install them one at a time for each device. You won't need to talk to a human to do this.

I was trying out the cyberlink webcam on my HP laptop and it doesnt show any picture. I was wondering how I could fix that and turn it back on?

Try going to the hp website and searching for your brand of laptop and downloading or updating the webcam driver, when i went from vista back to XP i had to download and reinstall some of my drivers again, now that I have upgraded to windows 7 i have had no issues, windows 7 rocks!
