I have a La Crosse wall clock, model WT-3102. It stopped running so I replaced the battery. The clock immediately moved to 4:00 and stopped. I left it overnight but it didn't move. I removed the battery and then put it back. The time changed to 8:00 and stopped. I did it again and the time moved to 12:00 and stopped. I tried a third time and it moved to 4:00 again and stopped. What should I do?

The clock slows down or stops often. When I rewind, I have to manually restart it many times before it will run on its own.

Sounds like it is not picking up the radio signal.
Try placing it in a window overnight where the radio signals do not get obstructed.

How do I change to daylight saving time?

Once the battery is installed the clock will begin searching for a signal. For the initial setting it is recommended to stand the clock in an upright position near a window. Within five minutes the clock will either receive the WWVB signal and set itself to the exact time, or it will determine that the signal is not receivable at its current location and time of day. If a signal is not receivable it will fast-forward the hands to the 4, 8, or 12 o'clock position and search for WWVB each even numbered hour until a signal is received. If the time is manually set the clock will continue to periodically search for a signal and automatically reset the hands when the signal is received.
What I would do, take the clock outside, it might not be getting a signal inside your house.

Hands rotate endlessly onatomic clock wt 3143

If you have not talked to La Cross and if you continue to have the problem, most likely it may be a signal problem. I had a similar
problem with an earlier model and found that it only worked on
the west facing wall as the signal is coming from WWVB which is the NISTtime signal radio station near Fort Collins, Colorado. Get a fresh battery, reset the clock, put it in a west facing window and leave it overnight. If it doesn't work, contact La Cross as above post.
