There are 3 things that can cause no power at the outlets.
1. Brushes are worn (remove the end bell and the brush block. Inspect the brushes for uneven wear.
2. The AVR has failed. This is a very simple regulator consisting of 1 capacitor and a diode. Inspect the cap and diode for any obvious signs of damage. Most of the time the capacitor bulges or burns out.
3. The armature commutator is very dirty. Clean off with sand paper by rotating the engine with the spark plug removed holding the sand paper in one place until the armature commutator is a shiny copper color.
4...... There is a possibility fo wiring damage or stator winding damage but.... unless you were operating the unit under a heavy load for a long time.... I doubt the stator has failed.
I think your going to find either a bad set of brushes or a problem with the AVR. Most of the time the AVR can be repaired by just changing the capacitor.
