My office jet 5600-hp all in 1 bed time i leave ok but at morning dos,nt work by pressing 'on' button.adapter is ok.at removing power sourse slightly listing sound.

Maybe is the power supply,if the adapter is ok,you need to replace the power supply of the printer.

My Hp pavilion 15 p249sa power light blinks only once and goes off. Nothing comes on.

Step 1:
disconnect all external devices including battery & AC adapter
Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to discharge any or all static from the PC.
Step 2:
Connect back the battery & AC adapter
press the windows key + B and at the same time press the power button.
This should clear the BIOS (Incase of BIOS issues or interrupted updates)

My hp pavillion dv7-4270 was working fine in the morning, when I turned it on again, the screen stayed black. I could hear the fan, the power light was on light blue solid light, the f12 had a red sol

Try taking your battery completely out of the system. Plug your AC adapter in and power on. If this works, then your battery is bad. As long as you don't need to use it remotely you are ok. Otherwise, you will need to replace the battery. Hope this works for you.

J4680 help set date and time

Hello,

Press the Setup button. (Far right button with a picture of a wrench on it.)

Use the Arrow buttons to go to Basic Settings. Press OK.

Use the Arrows to go to Date. Press OK. Use the number pad to set the date. Press OK.

Do the same thing to set the Time.

Here is a page that gives it also from HP. Scroll down to Step 6.

How do I scan a picture from the HP J4680 to computer

This is the step on how to scan docs using HP J4680:

    1. Press the "Power" button on the HP J4680 and lift the top cover. Place the document to be scanned on the scanner glass. Be sure the document is face down and properly aligned with the top, left-hand corner of the glass.

    2. Use the arrow keys on the control panel of the HP J4680 to select the "Scan" feature. Press "OK" to continue. Then Press the right arrow to select the scan feature. Press the "Start" button to begin the scan.

Computer will not turn on the power adapter works and the battery is ok

remove the battery, unplug the power cord. press power button for 30 sec. then connect just the power adapter. press power button. check if it will turn on. :)

How do i scan a doucment for print dont have a manual 5600 seris

1. Open the scanner cover.
2. Load or place that piece of paper on the glass bed.
3. Close the cover.
4. Press the COPY button.

No "COPY" button?

PRESS THE "OK" button or the "SET' button and it will copy like a xerox machine"

My BOSS HP tx2000 will not turn on WHILE...

ok Do you hear any soun when your system try to boot?like a beep sound ?
try this remove battert remove the ac adaptor from the noatbookand press and hold the power button for 10 sec and connec the ac adapter not the battery and turn on the noatbook and at the HP logo hit the F 10 key for 2 times and you will be on bios screen hit the F9 ket and restore the setting to default and hit F10 agian to save and exit and allow it to boot it thats work try with battery connected

Remove battery and power adapter.
Press power button a couple of times and then hold it down for about 6 seconds.

Then just plug in the ac adapter, keep battery removed, and try to turn on the laptop

Set the date and time




  1. On the product control panel, press Setup (c01715732.gif
    ).



  2. Press the Left (c01185108.jpg ) or Right
    (c01185072.jpg ) Arrow button to select Basic Setting , and then
    press OK .



  3. Press the Left (c01185108.jpg ) or Right
    (c01185072.jpg ) Arrow button to select Date and Time , and then
    press OK .



  4. After Enter
    date
    appears on the control panel display, use the keypad on the control
    panel to type the date in the correct two-digit format, MM-DD-YY (01-01-10).
    After entering the date, press OK .



  5. After Enter
    time
    appears on the control panel display, use the keypad on the control
    panel to type the time in the correct two-digit format, HH:MM (10:15), and then
    press the Right (c01185072.jpg ) Arrow button
    to switch between AM and PM . After entering the time, press OK .
