there is no need to change the ink absorbing sponges at all ,,as i hve solved this problem myself for many of my clients i m sure that it will work for u too if followed properly step by step:
It could be due to "waste tank full" alarm; you may need to reset the waste tank counter. reset sequence for a MP760 printer that works for F30 and F50 as well. Try: Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter 1) Enter SERVICE MODE.--- By pressing Menu-Copy-# 2) Select TEST MODE. 3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE. 4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR]. 5) Select 0. [INK COUNT]. 6) Press the [OK] key. 7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.
ur printer absorber will reset and will work properly and u will be back to work.try doing it one more time if u miss something .
please take a moment to rate the solution after u get ur problem solved
Waste ink is full. The printer needs servicing. Can be done yourself, though EXTREMELY MESSY! And you'll need to find how to reset the counter, or just look here:
The waste ink pad is a huge and dirty job. It requires nearly full disassembly of the machine and full washing and drying of the waste ink pads. Resetting the counter without cleaning the pads will result in waste ink overflowing out of your printer and on to what ever the printer is on. As for printer disassembly, service manuals are not generally available for consumer grade machines, which means you're on your own. Having torn down many machine's myself I can tell you it takes time, patience and a good memory. Take good note of where everything came from and how it goes back together.
I believe that is about a Epson ink printer, if it is, please download the "SSC Service Utility for Epson Printers" if the printer is Epson and reset the ink waste pad's. Please write the model of the printer if is not a Epson printer if the printer is Epson this should work. The software can be found on the internet for free quickly.
Hi My canon 370 MP Photo printer is flashing check printer, this is after I have taken it apart to clean out the ink tank overflow, as that was flashing before, how do I try top reset this printer.
thanks Sue
You really need a service center for that, some have posted methods to reset here, but when the ink overflows it ruins the printer, and anything it leaks on.Canon customer service can tell you the nearest center. 1-800-828-4040.
Inkjet printers have a fibrous pad inside them that collects the waste
ink from cleaning the print head. Over time, this pad fills up with ink
and can no longer hold any more. When this occurs, the printer
indicates a "waste ink full" error.
Replacing
the waste ink absorption pads is something an authorized canon service
facility can take care of for you. Once they are replaced,
it'll be functional again.
