My navigon 7210 stuck in first page in a corner says 00.12.03.20080912 and navigon on the other corner and that is all, i tried to reset it, on and off multiple time with and w/o memory card even i open and direcly disconect the batery as a hard reset but nothing. computer didnt reconice. please help

Usually are two ways to MASTER RESET such a device.
First one: with the device TURNED OFF press simultaneously the POWER and the RESET button for TEN SECONDS; after that release the RESET button and follow the displayed instructions.
Second one: hold your finger on lower-right corner of Navigon devicei screen while turn it ON; keep finger pressed until prompt appears; touch YES to clear all user data.
REMEMBER!
All settings are restored. Saved items are erased.

Please remove the battery for a minute or so. If the problem still persists then have the firmware reinstalled as it has got corrupted.

Are you able to make copy from printer or print test page ?
If you are not able to make copy from printer or print self test page
Check if the cartridges are not empty.
If they have ink, follow the steps below

1. Disconnect the power cable from back of printer
2. While holding the # and 6 button, connect the power cord to printer.
3. It will print the alignment sheet and you will have to re-align the printer and try to print/copy
*Note this is Semifull reset and doing so you may loose fax logs and other fax related setting you have setup on printer.

Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.

Make sure the sd card is seated properly.

Go to the volume screen. Tap the buttons for louder and softer. If the volume indicator does not move then goto solution A. If the indicator does move but you do not hear the voice say "louder" or "softer" goto solution B.

A. There is a problem in your settings file. You need to reset these files to factory status. This will reset all your settings to factory default. From the main screen hit Options then hit Options again. You should see a button that says "set to factory" or something like that. Click that and then reenter your custom settings as you like. Problem fixed.

B. You have a hardware problem. Call Navigon support for repair options.

Had same problem with a navigon 2100 and after trying my daughters car charger it worked properly. Called Navigon and they are sending me a new car charger.
