Hi First check the secondary camera (front),if it is Ok contact your sim card provider. If the secondary camera is not working, you cannot access 3G because front camera is the main module for 3G.Thanks for visiting fixya
Hello. If the 3G is active in your area and at the same time your front camera (secondary camera) if Ok,besides 3G symbol is seen in your phone you can make a video call ....Hints : Open Call Log/contacts you wish to make a call >>Option >> Call >>select Video Call........good luck.
Generally video call can be made in all 3g phones with front camera.. Nokia 5230 does not come with a front camera yet you can make video calls by recording and playing to the receiver on the other side.. To do this you need a 3g sim and after dial activate as video call in the options menu.. Another option is you can use a mirror to make a live video call of face to face.. Kindly i request you to rate me on fixya if i am helpful to you.. To continue my work and post answers in future i need your help.. thank you..
dear frnd,
your phone is 3G but until & unless you activate 3G service you can't use them, basically front camera is for video calling, but at back just below the camera you have mirror for this purpose...
njoy n cheers
Whats your phone make and model? The simplest way to check if your phone supports 3G is to check if your phone has a camera in front for video calling. If it does, you can be rest assured that it supports 3G.
yes it have the video calling capability, here is the rule: any phone which is 3G or more and have a camera is capable for video calling, but if if have a front camera video calling is easier and face to face, while when no front camera is exists you will only be able to capture a video to show it to the caller, here is the full specifications and evaluations of 5230: http://www.jawal123.com/PublicPages/Details.aspx?id=-1305613358
