My controller not picking up my ps3 and my ps3 wont pick up my tv

First off make sure connected good..on ps3 and TV..turn off then on again..if still no video..try while its on ..unplug cable u have ..on ps3 then reconnect..could be bad cable..if still nothing..turn off ps3..turn onps3hold down power till cuts off..then turnon and keep holding down button ..llisten for two beeps..then release ..it will come to a screen say plug in USB controller .then pick third option ..that should help..if not bad cable..and in display settings.. make sure u let it decide.hit automatic for display..it will pick for you r TV.. ..k

Install your usb charger cord to the system, and the controller before you turn it on. Then after you turn on the system, use a small pin, or paper clip to hit the reset button on the bottom of the controller. This solution works for all PS3 types, not just the fats. All that use Bluetooth controllers. Good luck. ^^

Try this.

Plug your PS3 on either TV. Turn on the backswitch. When the red light in front is on, put your finger on the on/off button in front AND KEEP IT THERE. You will hear some beeps; don't worry about that. Keep your finger on the button until the front power light goes red again. This resets the PS3 video settings. Turn the PS3 on and the TV should pick up the signal.

1. Connect the PS3 standard composite video connector (yellow RCA plug) to the TV composite input and switch the TV to that input. Leave the HDMI cable connected.
   
2. Make sure the PS3 is off. Turn it on and hold the power button until you get two beeps (at least 5 seconds). The PS3 navigation screen should be shown on the TV. If not, switch the TV back to HDMI; the screen should be displayed at 480i resolution.
   
3. Go to the settings menu. Select Display Settings, then Video Output Settings, then press the X button on your controller.
4. The on-screen instruction should be "Select the type of input on your TV." Select HDMI, then press the '> (solid right triangle) button on your controller.
5. You will be offered the choice of Automatic or Custom settings. Try Automatic first (if there is a problem at the end, start over and pick Custom the second time).
6. Press the X button. You will get a screen asking you to confirm the changes. Press the X button again to confirm.
7. You may get a screen asking for the resolution setting. IMPORTANT: if your TV's maximum resolution is 720p or lower, do not pick a higher resolution. The TV may not display properly or may not display at all (blue screen). Pick the highest resolution your TV can display.
8. Confirm this by selecting "Yes" and pressing the X button.
9. The settings list should now read Connector Type HDMI; Resolution Standard (NTSC); 480p; 720p; 1080p (if applicable). Press the X button to confirm.
10. You may be offered a choice of audio outputs; you can use HDMI or something else, depending on your setup. Confirm the setting and press X one more time.

At this point, the PS3 should send its signal to the HDMI port following restart. If your TV has more than one HDMI input, make sure you select the one connected to the PS3.

Wont pick up your TV? does your tv have the sound? what cable are you using? you will need to pull the lead out blow it get rid off any dust. If that fails you will need to replace you cable.

Try resetting the display back to standard definition -

Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep

Wait for the PS3 display to reset

Is it a normal TV or LCD?

TURN UR PS3 OFF. Then turn it on but hold the power button till u hear three beeps. the third beep is a double beep then let go a screen will pop up that has 6 options pick number one. if that doesnt work go back to the screen and pick option 3.
