Conlan's solution appears to be a good one with 75% rating.... but what was the solution?.... does not appear. My binoculars are Praktica Sport... PC 7-21 X 25 They are a complete mess, and are unable to use, with my hands covered in a black dye which is almost impossible to remove. I'm at :[email protected] I'd be grateful if anyone can supply an effective solution. Thanks in anticipation Roy

SOURCE: LUXMEDIA 7203 - Camera display "WARNING"

Take out the batteries for a while. Insert them again and try to reset your camera to factory settings. If you are using a SD card replace it. If the problem continues your camera need to be serviced.

Have not got laptop with windows 7 and cannot transfer photos from Praktica Luxmedia 6103 digital camera to laptop

You do not need Windows 7 - any functioning windows PC or Mac that can accept a USB cable should be able to see your camera's memory folders. Put the camera on and 1- On a PC they appear at Start/My computer/ and in a folder somewhere within E: or D: click on folders within folders to find and copy your photo folder manually. and paste it on your computer hard drive.
2.
On a Mac it appears on the desktop.

Try to download and use picasa to import photos.

Water inside trying to clean

Why are you using water , which contains impurities

I use alchohol impregnated lens wipes which you can buy over the counter for cleaning spectacles, it also evaporated quickly

Use a lens cloth to polish the glass as it dries off.

Do not over do the application of any liquids on lenses as over time it will seep through the the various elements of the lens causing them to part company and your bino's will lose their sharpness

Case is "sticky" like glue

The same thing happened with my old Praktica Sport Zoom binoculars, and (in my case) found that the sticky coating could be removed by repeated rubbing with paper towels moistened with methylated spirit ("meths"). SAFETY FIRST: If you decide to try this method and have not used meths before, it is a very flammable liquid, and harmful by touch and inhalation, so please wear rubber gloves and do this outdoors or in a well ventilated place and away from sources of heat or fire. That said, it is cheap and readily available from DIY stores, usually in their painting section.

Bent

Not likely. These binocs are reviewed elsewhere by many, and appear to be pretty much cheap junk.

I happen to have a pair, and the right lens support that is screwed onto the body is cracked plastic.

Maybe with your set, and mine, we could make one good, functional unit... but when you could buy another (ah ma zon dot c o m) for less than 11 dollars, why bother.

Sorry... but they just aren't really very well made. As to the bent focus mech you have, I doubt you could obtain a part, anywhere, to replace the bent one. You might try to straighten the bent part by careful disassembly of the body, but do know that there's a bunch of glued together parts in these binocs, and not too many parts that can be removed/replaced with screws.

Praktica dcz3.2s

Check this website for updated drivers.

http://www.opendrivers.com/freedownload/247962/praktica-dcz-3.2s-digital-camera-driver-download.html

If the problem still exists, turn off you computer, connect the camera and restart the computer.

The operating system may install kind of a generic driver to allow you to access the camera a a simpkle 'mass storage device.'
If it finds and installs drivers, the camera will appear as a 'removable disc drive' that you can access as any other drive although you may have to open nested folders to see your pictures.
