"Application Start Error". Try "Yellow Key", 1, 0, 7, then Orange Key. When it goes into service mode, shut down, unplug for 15 seconds, then plug in and turn on. If that does not work, call service.

Ok... With the model maybe there is a solution.
You have a application fail.
Have you tried to rebut (off/on) the machine?
If you did that and doesn't work you have to download the controller firmware.
If you don't have technical training i advise you to call your provider
sc998 is either a problem with an application, or the firmware that controls that application. If you have a service technician come out and update your firmware, it will most likely fix the problem.
you will need a service tech to come out and troubleshoot the SC998 error code as that is typically firmware software related beyond the scope of users without the benefit of ricoh training and experience.

Could have a corrupt driver. Disconnectthe printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd doboth and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printerto the USB port, do so and it should again work properly. Hope this helps. Bud

I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the

998 is a great bike... they arn't super fast top speed is 162mph and its gear limited not electronically limited. It will take you a while to get to 162mph quarter mile is 11.5 sec @ 135mph, so I'd guess, 15 sec or so too 162mph, from a stop. You can get a modern-day corvette to do better,,,
