There is a 2 second delay with my snowball. I am trying to record and a vocalist needs to listen to their voice quality when doing so, however it is very difficult to actually record with headphones on because of the the delay distracts me. How can I fix this please?

The delay isn't the mic, it's the mixer or how you're routing signal that's causing delay. If you're using a stander mixer use 2 separate "aux.'s" one for your vocalist and 1 for yourself. OR i aux for your vocalist and you listen to final output (stereo mix)

I bought a used digitech vocalist live 3 for guitarists. but I cannot get any signal out of it. No sound.

I have used Vocalist Live II and III and they all work perfectly. Are you using the in from the mike into the mic in (vocalist) and out from the Vocalist into the amp's voice input? Are they all XLRs? If your troubleshooting does not take you anywhere, e-mail Digitech. They are very responsive. Good luck!

Teac A 6010 reel to reel while recording my voice it echos my voice

You may be listening off tape and there is a lag of time between the record head and the play head which is what you may be concerned with. This is normal for any three head deck be it cassette or open reel.
Slowing the speed will lengthen the time of the delay and speeding it up will shorten it.

Can you use the digi-tech4 with a keyboard instead of a guitar?

Of course you can. I would send rather simple voices to the vocalist from the keyboard rather than really wierd sounds as the vocalist has to analyze the sounds to decide on creating the harmony from your voice. They do say it can be used with keyboards in the literaturee.

I got a blue snowball microphone and had 2 problems. On XP, I can get it recognized and record stuff (I use Acid Pro) but while I am recording (with headphones) I dont hear anything in the head phones....

Thanks for purchasing the Snowball! The problem doesn't look directly related to the mic (as it's purely USB) and monitoring is dependent on the capabilities of the recording software being used. For direct monitoring, we recommend GarageBand and Audacity.

Delay problem

Not sure how you are defining delay. Are you recording to the hard drive using the sound card as inputs? Are you listening to the speakers while you are recording or are you playing a recording back and there is delay or echo in that? PLease let me know

Manual

I have a coby mp-c855. I record my own voice by the following: hold the M button for a few seconds, scroll over to record and press play to start your recording and pause to end. To listen to your recordings in the future: use M button, choice voice options and press play. I have not figured out how to delete my voice recordings yet.

Aim Conversations Delayed

Check the format that you are using for your voice and your videos to make sure they are are the same. You can also check the quality of it to make sure it is not slowing down the voice more than the video.
