Microsoft Office Starter 2010 is a new, reduced functionality, advertising-supported version of Microsoft Office that replaces Microsoft Works on new computers and acts as a low-cost introduction to the Office 2010 suite of software. The Office Starter 2010 software includes Excel Starter 2010 and Word Starter 2010, which are special versions of Excel and Word with reduced feature sets. Although the feature sets are limited, they have the same look and feel as the Word and Excel in the full Office versions.
