Is there another way to get the youtube app on my motorola i1 phone rather than thu rapidshare... you have to pay for that service. is there an app in the marketplace to download on the phone to access it right a away rather than thru my PC

Here's some steps I found to get your Boost Moto I1 back up and running in a hurry:

To reset through software:

• Press the App tab on the home screen
• Tap Settings
• Tap SD Card & Phone Storage
• Tap Master Clear
• Tap Reset Phone

To reset through Hardware:

• Power the phone all the way off (remove battery if necessary)
• Press and hold Volume Up, Volume Down, (Green) Send Key, and the OK key.
• Press and hold the Power/End Call key.
• Release all keys after a few seconds.
• If performed correctly, the Motorola emblem will appear, with an image of an arrow pointing to a phone icon.
• The phone will restart multiple times, eventually returning to the initial setup screen.

If the phone still isn't working after the hardware reset, perform the steps in the software reset to complete the wipe in full.

I think you may get the wrong format for your motorola,you can use a video converter to convert the videos you download from youtube to the right ones for your cellphone.i recommend this free Mp4 video converter to you,you can have a try .

I see, if that is the case, I would suggest to download an Opera Mini browser on your phone, then once you have it on your phone, you can start to search for the Youtube app, because there are lots of available apps in the Opera Mini browser.

wish we could - instead we are stuck with 1.5 hybrid - sucks but there is a new software update that fixes youtube and some other issues

Download the latest software updates - Press menu goto about phone - check for updates - need to be tethered to high speed internet or WIFI

1. Download "youtube.apk" on your computer.

Save it to your Motorola i1 SD card
2.Enable installation of non-market apps on the phone.
Settings---Applications---Check "unknown sources"
3.Download and intall "Linda file manager" in the android marketplace.
4. Open linda file manager, navigate to your sd card and install youtube.apk
