Just make sure that you are killing the apps that are still running in the background, goto settings , task manager and then end all there to close all applications in memory, the open apps in the memory would be eating at your battery..

Xperia Play Battery Drain and screen malfunction during charge.

Apps and services in the background drain your phone even while in standby mode. Turning off your 3G or 4G connection will deprive you of the internet but it will still permit you to get phone calls. Meanwhile, you are not having apps such as Google constantly draining your power in the background. And they are, even in standby mode. Charge your phone frequently to help preserve battery life.

How can i reset my sony ericsson xperia x2

Solution 1:

Just do following with your phone:

Windows key > Settings > System > Clear phone memory

This will hard reset your phone

Solution 2:

There is a boot menu that allows you to do the hard reset (or reset to factory defaults) without using Phone Reset utility.

1. Remove the battery
2. Reinsert the battery, be ready to press two keys on the keyboard
3. Once backlight goes on, within 1 second press and hold win-key (top left) and O.
4. In the menu press W to select clean boot
5. Press Win-key to boot the phone.

Good luck!
