Hotpoint side by side refrigerator. Freezer stopped blowing cold air while refrigerator side continued to cool. Freezer was totally thawed when I discovered problem but refrigerator side was still cool however the next morning the refrigerator side no longer cooled. the fans continue to blow air however it is not cold air.

Check the freezer to ensure it isn't over loaded with food stuff; reason being air must flow freely threw out the entire refrigerator in order for the thermostat to work correctly. Also check whether the unit needs defrosting or not. You should also check the coils on the rear of the refrigerator and make sure they are clean and dust free. If you still have problems after trying the above; you may need to call a repair service to come out and check the unit
