Win7 64 bit, my system crashes if i used the driver from ihome, without the driver the webcam is slow and i cant take still pictures or use face tracking.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.

recent updates from Microsoft has made changes to many IRQs in systems world-wide...so the clash in IRQs...car creating issue in hardware management...so the OS crashes....
go to Device Manager and check if ur Webcam is listed there without any yellow ? or ! mark...
u can check the properties of ur webcam and c if any clash or IRQs or if there is any clash of resources...
if there is a clash...check the IRQ...and c if u can allot a different IRQ to it...

REMOVE THE GRAPHIC DRIVER
