Audio device on high definition audio bus

I've installed xp on my "portable pc lenovo " model; sunrise 410 m
but i have no sound, the problem is that i can't found wher to download the driver for the sound card,
with "everest" i knowed that it's ; conexant Cx 20549@intel 8280 1gbm ich7-m high definition audio controller

    i´ve installed XP-SP2 on my portatil compac presario C500
    Model:C504 US .bus i have no sound the problem is that i can´t found wher to download the driver for the sound card.
    I need the your help at found conexant high definition audio
    Version:4.0.50 Rev B
    Descripition this driver enables sound properties and sets up an user interface.

    yeah i have an audio problem for my lenovo 410 too. I have the softwares, but whenever i start it it just says some MEDIA thing is messing. (from the official cd)

In my lenovo sunrise the driver for the sound card is Conexant High Definition Audio Venice 5045 and works fine.

I ve replace vista with xp professional on acer 5315 aspire ICL50
You can download all of them they will not install if the driver is not the right one. After download run it, the software will look for the device if it can not find it it will notify you stating "The device can not be found" if it is the correct one it will complete the installation.

Download "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio", here is the download link below

now download "Conexant High Definition Audio Driver" ,here is the download link

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34001-34500/sp34200.exe

First install  "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver" and then "Conexant High Definition Audio Driver"

your sound will work now.

You can download drivers from the compaq support site.
An alternate solution is to use a driver update program to find and install missing or outdated device drivers.

These are the same thing , they will both disappear when you install the audio driver

Click under Windows XP Drivers And Utilities And click Audio Driver

Always check the manufacturers site for your drivers!
