I have one problem with hp laserjet P4014n printing all paper black. the background is black all but word are showing can someone help me in this

If your background is "Black" it's going to print it all black, change your background color to "Gray" and your machine will then print a gray background instead of black. Also note that when you print a black background your toner life expectancy will be no where your expected yield ratio is. Average yield is 5% for X (X meaning size of cartridge) amount of printed pages. If your printing a black background your utilizing 100% yield coverage. Not sure if this is the answer your looking for. However basic black and white printing with a black background will print the page completely black.

Set tray 1 paper size to "any size/any type". print out a configuration page to make sure that this setting took. set manual feed prompt to " unless loaded". That should work. Good luck !

1. Time to change the fuser

2. The paper is not using plain paper.

If the black toner cartridge (Q6000A) is not original, problem with the doctor blade, bad calibrated.

Use Original cartridges?

See This:

The amount of background toner shading becomes unacceptable.

1.The media might not meet HP specifications.
  • Use a different paper with a lighter basis weight.
2. Use a different paper with a lighter basis weight.
  • Check the MFP environment.
3.One or more print cartridges might below. If non-HP print cartridges are used, no messages appear on the control panel or in the HP ToolboxFX.

Hp laserjet p4014n ... when print job sent to printer, it hangs up on "processing" and never prints

First tray to print from tray1 (bypass), if it's ok then
do firmwareupgrade if the machine has firmware available. If, afteryou upgrade the firmware, you get a 50.9 error for fuser overtemp, then youneed to replace the fuser after checking all connections on the DCC and fuser.

Check the media settings for your paper trays. Make sure they are set properly, also check the diver media settings. Is the problem happening with a specific print job? If it is check the page setup for that document.
