SOURCE: Sony TV power and volume not working
Since remote does not work, try taking out batt and turning on by set. See if still turns up. It could be that the up button is jammed inside set. Does everything else works? See if you can go to menu and turn speakers off, this will allow you to work on set and not worry about noise.
SOURCE: TV won't turn on
this is a problem in one of the resistors in the high voltage end of the board these can be replaced but if you want to do it yourself you will need to buy equipment first i would get a pro to look at it for you and get them to replace as this will be cheaper than buying testing equipment but if you have equipment i can give you the service manuall to download and this will give you the schematics for your tell hope this is some help
SOURCE: it says "turn the power off and on again"..!!
try gently pulling and twisting the end of the lense and i mean gentle dont pull till it pops than switch it off and on again and you problem should be solved
SOURCE: Sony 46" lcd turns off by itself and will not power up again.
if your tv unit is still under warranty, first you better bring it back again to the store you just bought it for warranty purposes, your tv has an internal problem, maybe manufacturer defect. Usually the cause of that is a shorted electronics component, say for ex, a mosfet transistor that is located at the power section, or maybe a capacitor that is leaky, and also an open resistor. if you don't know how to troubleshoot this problem, you better have your tv unit repaired by a professional tv technician.
Good luck
Turn off the camera.
Remove the battery pack.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
Reinsert the battery pack.
Turn on the camera.
Also try resetting the Camera back to factory default: The RESET button is located at the lower right side of the control button. To reset the camera just press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object.
If the issue remains the same, then service may be required.
Thanks for using FixYa.
