Maybe you have the wrong 192... Go command prompt and type in "ipconfig" without the quotes. scroll up and find the default gateway (default gate way . . . : 192...) and type that in your browser and press enter.
If that doesn't work, go to your network connections and right click on the one that is connected click properties, click on Internet Protocol Version 4, click properties, and make sure all the settings are automatic. Restart computer, repeat first part.
If that doesn't work, reset your router and access point. Than reconnect and repeat first part.

How to reset dlinkap 1320

Hey Rolando,

On the back of the unit is a small button to reset. Use a straigtened paperclip to do so. Attached is an image of what it should look like. b86d4bfe-0100-4d89-87bc-74360b9790d9.jpg

Internet setup

It should work "out-of-the-box".
Be sure to connect using "straight-through" (not "cross-over") Ethernet cables.
Connect from the 'WAN' port on the router to your DSL-modem (or cable-modem).
Power-off the DSL/Cable modem.
Power-on the DSL/Cable modem.
Power-off the D-Link.
Power-on the D-Link.
Reboot your computer.
You should be good.

Bought the D-Link DAP-1360 and my problem is that my laptop does not have a port to take the ethernet cable. How do I set it up nw as a range extender?

You don't need to connect via ethernet. In your laptop set the IP address to 192.168.0.2. subnet 255.255.255.0
This will probably temporarily disconnect you from your internet but you can reset the IP address back later. It might be a good idea to write your current settings down for later.
Open your browser and enter dlinkap or 192.168.0.50
You will connect to the Dlink AP
follow the directions in the user guide found at the link below.

Cannot access either dlinkap or 192.168.0.50 via web browser in order to set DAP-1360

Connect your computer to the router.
Assuming Windows 7, click the "Start" button.
Into the search-box, type 'CMD' and press ENTER.
Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL'.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway" (or "DHCP-server").
Type that IP-address into your web-browser.

Dlinkap

You can do a reset to default settings. OR using the on-line setup, change/remove Security Key, refer to the User Manual here: http://www.dlink.com/-/media/Consumer_Products/DAP/DAP%201522/Manual/DAP%201522_Manual_EN_US.pdf

Dap 1320 can't set it up using web browser link

These answers on all these sites are very confusing. Here's what I did to solve the issue of not connecting with a browser. 192.168.0.50 does not work nor does http://dlinkap.local. or whatever else is printed on the device. On my PC that is hard wired to my router, I logged into my router, checked which wireless devices were connected and found that dlinkap (note this is not the SSID that is printed on the device) was assigned 192.168.0.4. Set my browser to 192.168.0.4 and off we go to configure the extender.

Refer to page 3 of the Quick Install Guide listed on the web site below.

There are multiple ways to configure this router and do not wish to provide HOW TO without knowing how you have it set-up.

Cannot connect to Dlink DAP-1522 at 192.168.0.50. Unit is plugged into home network router.

Hi. Is this to change its settings?

Plug directly in the DAP-1522.
Set your PCs network settings under TCP/IP, alternate config:
IP Address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.50

Give it a try.

Dlink dap 1522

I think I was having a similar problem with my DAP-1522 ... FW Version 1.10 being used as an access point. I recently discovered that I was not able to connect to the configuration pages using a web browser by typing in it's IP address (192.168.0.50). When I originally set this up device up on my network, it worked just fine, but at some point in time, it stopped working. My solution to this problem was to set the switch on the back of the 1522 from Auto to AP, then re-boot the DAP-1522 by removing power, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging power back in. Once the AP re-booted, I was then able to access the configuration login page by typing 192.168.0.50 into my browser. My DAP-1522 access point is connected via port 1 to my D-link router, a DGL-4100, via a DGS-2208, 8 port gigabit switch. Hope this helps!
