How to substitute itunes with ipod touch 2nd generation

connect it to iTunes and click restore. you might loose your music but if your music is in your iTunes library you can add them back later.

make sure you have an internet connection and that the ipod is synced to your own account

connect the ipod to PC..... first make sure you have the latest Itunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/) 10.2.2 now plug ipod to PC..... Itunes should pop up automatic... now check to see if your ipod has the latest firmware for its generation (ipod touch 2gen) if not update it, this should also help the docking problems...now (always always eject your ipod, do not ever ever just unplug the ipod)

To reset iPod shuffle:

1. Disconnect iPod shuffle from the computer (if connected).
2. Move the switch on the iPod shuffle to the OFF position. Note that when iPod shuffle is off, the green stripe by the switch is not visible.

3. Wait five seconds. For iPod shuffle (3rd and 4th generation), wait ten seconds.
4. Move the switch to the play in order or the shuffle position. The green stripe will be visible in either position. For iPod shuffle (2nd and 4th generation), slide the power switch on (and you can see the green stripe).

This is saying connect to itunes it probably need abit more information from itunes

What to do is connect the ipod to your computer using the usb cable supplied and use itunes to set it up. You will then be able to update the software on the ipod and also upload your songs, movies and photos onto it. You can download itunes from the apple website at www.apple.com/itunes

I bought soundwing FB44 at Ben Gurion airport and it will only play DVD's purchased in Israel.

You can enable an iPod touch 2nd Generation by plugging it in to a PC or Mac running iTunes 8 or later

Try to plug it into the computer and press restore through itunes or press and hold the home(square) and the top button.
