turn on the computer and before the windows logo comes up, start tapping on F8 until advanced start up options come on the screen, then you can use the arrow keys and enter to select the option that you wish to use.
Please let me know if you require further assistance or if you have any questions. Thanks, Ekse
unfortunatley if your device is preconfigured for 1d only you will not beable to scan or decode 2d barcodes. Which configuration of the mc55 do you currently have? if you can provide me with this information i can let you know if it is possible or not.
Hello Mathew,
the USPS barcode is the GS1 128 (Code128) that will help you by activating accoring to the manual. Please be sure that you enable all lenghts of the Code128 barcode. That is probably the issue.
more times out of 10 the SD card is either damaged or being inserted incorrectly. Are you sure you have it the right way up. Look into the slot and not where the gold terminals are and the insert the card so those terminals match the terminals on the card itself
You can easily get a memory card reader from any local store at a cheap price, depending on your country.
Most of the Memory card readers come in USB type, so what you just need to do is to plug it in any available usb port on your PC, and then insert your sd micro card in the appropriate port for it.
For SD Micro Cards (The Smallest Types), most times you might need to first insert it in a Small Card Adapter that comes with SD Micro cards, before inserting it in your USB Card Reader.
Hello, If you are willing to use VB.NET, then it will be easy. You would need the Symbol EMDK. With that and VS2008 (Express should be fine as well), you only need few coding steps:
1) Add reference to dlls Symbol.dll and Symbol.Barcode.Dll
2) Finder a scanner s = Symbol.Barcode.Device.AvailableDevices.First()
3) make a reader r = New Symbol.Barcode.Reader(s)
4) add data d = New Symbol.Barcode.ReaderData(1, 1024)
Two ways to photograph and download, the easy way: Buy a MicroSD and insert it in the corresponding slot, then remove it and print the photos on a Kiosk or use an inexpensive external reader to install it in the computer. Not so easy: Purchase the compatible USB cord and install the camera on the computer.
