You go to the control panel then go to your network settings and then find wireless networks. After that select your network and type the password if needed.
Make sure that your belkin router is set up for wi-fi.
if it's not configure your router by typing 192.168.1.1 in browser and press enter.
Enter your default router login information to log in to your router, and set up your wifi.
Turn on wifi on your laptop, connect to your wi-fi network with your SSID.
*log in informations to your router depends on your belkin model. Look what model you have, type it in google with phrase "default password" and do the search.
You may want to click to wireless network icon on the bottom part on the rght part of your monitor and search for network. Then you may want to chose your network and, if you chosed this option, to type the password for the network.

i can connect to the router wired but not wirelessly:(
i cannot connect wirelessly to the belkin but if im connecting my laptop using ethernet cable i can use the internet
i can connect to the belkin router but there is no internet it only says local connection only. on the other hand if im using my cellphone i can use the wifi with the internet connection..thanks for your help:)
