USB: Run the cd, when its asked for connecting connect the usb cable, do rest..Network. Menu>network setup>TCP/IP>enter IP address>save it.connect network patch cable, take configuration page through printer menu settings, verify the IP address save or not> go to system 1. Run the CD select network as network printer> system will detect the printer go for rest of the process..
2. Through system> start> settings>printers& faxes>add printer wizard > select as local printer> select create new port in dialog box> select TCP/IP> type configured IPadress> do rest of the run process..

This is usually a pretty common network problem for printers and other devices on a network. If you network uses DHCP that automatically assigns IP address's you may have developed a conflict when you installed your new printer.
You will want to print a configuration page from both printers to determine what the IP address of each is then manually configure independent IP address for each to preclude further conflicts.

Easiest way is to connect the printer to a router as this printer has a built in network card. Print out a configuration report and check to see if the printer configured an ipv4 address. Once that is ready add a network printer on the other computers, this will allow for multiple users to use the printer without slowing any of the computers up.

I cannot connect to hp laserjet 2015 PCL5. wia network...
im using 64 bit windows 7, and tell me that Windows cant find a driver for HP.........i install driver and nothing........

To install the HP as a network printer you need to do the following -
1. Configure the HP's IP address so it matches the IP range of your network. eg if your IP's are 192.168.0.xxx then set the HP to a high number say 100.
2. Install the HP printer driver on your computer/s using the LPT printer port.
3. Connect the printer to the network hub/router and power up the printer.
4. Click on Printers an Faxes - right click on the HP printer and click on Properties.
5. Click on Ports and click on Add Port.
6. In available ports - click on Standart TCP/IP Port and then Configure port.
7. Tick the IP box and type in the IP address of the HP's IP address.
8. Click OK and tick Enable bidirectional support and then OK

You need to setup the HP printer the same way on every computer on your network.
You can now print from any computer on your network

HP LaserJet p215tn, and HP LaserJet p215nw printers.
A Network Configuration page prints whenever a printer configuration page is printed. You
can also print a Network Configuration page by pressing the network Reset button at the

The Network Configuration page provides information about the network configuration,
including the IP address, firmware revision, network statistics, protocol information, and so
on. The Network Configuration page automatically prints when you print a configuration
page from the control panel.
