This means that where you currently are, your phone cannot reach a network. In certain places, the signals the mobile phone companies use to connect to your phone are too weak. When this happens, your phone will display this message. So if people try to call you or send a message, they won't get through to you and vice-versa. You can try to change this by changing where you are, or if this is not convenient due to the fact that you get no signal at home or work, try changing to a different network. Bear in mind also, that phone networks occasionally fail for short periods of time while maintenance is being carried out. So it could be remedied simply by waiting a day or two. Hope to have helped.

Samsung B209 network Problem does not show the network and dose not connect the call

Welcome to FixYa!

It means that there is no network coverage in your area. In most cases, your operator or service provider is the best source of assistance with issues regarding network coverage.

When you are in outdoors, move your position to find a good signal network coverage area. When you are in indoors ( like building, basement and subway station), change your position by small spaces, or move towards a window.

If other mobile phones with the same operator or service provider as yours does not have a signaltoo, then it is conclusive that there is no network coverage.

If other mobile phones with the same operator or service provider as yours does have a signal, then you need to upgrade your cell phones firmware. Unfortunately, there is no upgrade available from Samsung's Website http://www.samsung.com/in/consumer/mobile-phone/mobile-phone/cdma-phone/SCH-B209ZKAREL/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=support

Samsung B209 uses CDMA Technology at 800Mhz frequency. If your operator or provider uses GSM Technology, then your phone will not get any signal.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Have a great day.

My mobile phone received an Orange message saying 'Update error 020146'. All Inbox messages disappeared! What is the cause?

Hi, I have had the same problem, its to do with the merging of Orange and T-Mobile networks to give you better signal coverage, but if you have an old phone or sim card, mine is over 12 years old, it wont automatically update, hence the error message. You need to call 150 from your mobile and ask them to send you a new sim card, which you will need to register when you receive it. Good luck, PS Dont bother going into the shop, they couldnt help me, although you could call from there.

My phone displays a message no network coverage what does this mean

Hi,

This means the signal for the phone from your service provider is not reaching your phone/phone is not picking up.

please switch off and on it,it will be ok.

Still the problem presists put your SIM card in some other mobile and check whether you care getting signal. If it recieves the signal, then the problem is with the mobile only.

Please take your mobile to authorisedservice centre because it is due to internal problem.

thanx

HTC Hero disconnects from network!

maybe orange dont have a large area of coverage on your city/town. try using a wi-fi connection with your home wirelless network, and if you have same problem, try reset factory default.

There is no network coverage in my mobile (nokia 7610). If i go for manual search for operator selection it results in "no operator found". But if i put the same SIM card in any other mobile then there is...

If searcing manually say no operator found,it means any problem with receifer in your phone, for 2-4 scnd (than operator not found)check antenna and its connector.for 5-7 scnd check switch antenna. for 8-10 check RF IC. for 10 scnd up Check UEM(power IC) and CPU.But for safely do a software repair with a good PM.
