Head over to Toshiba's support site for your laptop here. Switch All Categories to Camera and download the web camera application. This contains the web cam driver.

Have you tried to do a system recover on your computer to re-download the drivers that were on the computer intially, the webcam should work fine with any program that you use (Skype, Yahoo, Stickam.com).

Volume control not working or opening
Audio module may be bad, it can be replaced. Use Control Panel Device Manager and delete the audio module to see if operating system will see it and reload driver upon reboot.

Toshiba SAT A505-S6005 Power cord was plugged when laptop fell to the floor and hit where the cord attaches to the receptical (on computer) which jammed (pushed) the thin connector prong further into
When this happens it means that the whole recepticle has been broken off of the motherboard and the whole laptop will have to be disassembled. This is not an easy job for someone who hasn't done one before. After it's disassembled it has to be determined if the recepticle can be resoldered or not. Sometimes the damage is not repairable. Good luck!

Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power.

Then, since you need to ask "how" to do it, I strongly recommend that you take the computer to a qualified technician, for _professional_ repair.

What you're wanting to do is _very_ complicated, and you could really "break" things, as you try to disassemble your computer, without breaking any wires that connect the motherboard to the LCD screen.
