Picture was fine no problem..next day turned on set & nothing..but little red light on bottom right lit up..said need to call for service. The picture has always been great still was the night before..sound too.. love this TV..better pic than the LCD's have..what does it need to fix it? 37BR450 Trinatron FD Wega.

Open the picture(With Windows Picture & Fax viewer)

Type "CTRL+K" to turn the picture 90 degrees clockwise. Additionally, instead of using the command keys, you may select the "mountain" icon. This icon located next to the magnifying glass icon on the bottom of the picture.

Type "CTRL+L" to turn the picture 90 degrees counter-clockwise or select the second mountain icon. This icon located next to the red "X" icon on the bottom of the picture.

Repeat the steps, changing the number of degrees as needed to adjust the picture to the correct angle.

I had the exact problem. Turned it off at night, next day nothing. Set is KV32FV16, manuf. in 2000. Repair tech. found bad fuse that was all, set now working. Fuse located in lower right hand side of chassis. Fuse appeared to have deteriorated rather than blown. Good luck.

I believe the wireless setting on the router are default .You need to make it manual and change the channel to either 1,6,9 or 11.....and upgrade the firmware of router ...and if available make the radio band to standard 20 mhz only or 20 mhz only whichever be there under wireless settings,,,Problem will sort out

Just a thought, but check all of the pico fuses for a blown fuse. The pico fuses look like a small yellow resistor. Some Hitachi's are famous for having a blown hi-volt ceramic capacitor and a blown pico fuse.
I think the red led on is a short protect indicator, but I could be mistaken.

A sign that amps are going bad, right now you can check resistors in convergence board alongside the amps, check resistance to see if right.

What I usually find on sets like that is that there is a loose solder joint on the CRT board itslef. You must get to the bottom of the picture tubes, pull off the CRT board from the red CRT and examine all solder joints on that board. Chances are one or more will be cracked, and resoldering all joints on the board should clear up your problem.
