On most hotpoint wash machines you cant replace or grease the bearing you have to replace the whole drum which cost around 100 pounds from hotpoint and a couple of hours labour its a common problem on hotpoint machines.

Hotpoint pump can be by the kickstrip at bottom front of machine or back bottom of machine behind the service panel hope this helps to replace pump is not that hard and you can find parts for your machine on Espears.

This is a drain problem. Most likely something caught in the pump which
is accessed by removing the small panel at the rear/bottom of the
machine. The pump slots in place and can be removed by lifting and
shifting to the left. Unscrew the pump off or remove the pipes will
reveal all.
