GENERAL PHONE SETTINGS FOR GPRS
1. Setting APN : First we have to set one APN each for Internet and MMS respectively.
(Access Point Name) - for Internet set ( www.e.po) and for MMS set (mms.e.po)
2. Setting WAP Profiles : Now we need a WAP PROFILEwith WAP GATEWAY (192.168.81.163)
3. Creating Bookmarks : Now we need some BOOKMARKS of WAP SITES for Internet Surfing.
4. Settings for MMS : Different Handsets have their respective MMS Settings where we
require MESSAGE SERVER / HOMEPAGE and this is set as follows : http://192.168.81.166/servlets/mms

Navigate to your cellular provider's website or call its customer service line. Access the "Support" section of the website or ask for the technical support division. Find the "Access Point," "MMS" and "Wap Gateway" settings and write them down.Power on the HTC phone and then press the soft key on the left side to bring up the main menu screen. Scroll down through the menu and highlight the "Settings" option. Press the square button at the center of the phone to access the settings menu.Choose the "Connections" option from the settings menu. Scroll down through the new list that will appear and choose "GPRS." Highlight the "New" option and press the center button. Choose "Connects To Internet."Scroll down to the "Internet" heading and choose "Change." Key in the Access Point that you wrote down earlier. Scroll down and press "Done.Navigate back through the menu to the "GRPS" option. Press "New" again, and this time, choose "Connects To Wap." Choose the "MMS" option. Key in the MMS settings you wrote down earlier.Return to the main menu screen and then select "Messaging." Highlight "MMS" and press the right soft key to bring up a second menu. Choose "Settings," and then choose "MMSC Settings."Press "Edit" and enter in the "MMS" settings again. Scroll down to "WAP Gateway" and enter in the information you wrote down earlier.Power cycle the phone by turning it off and then back on to complete setting up the WAP settings.
