You need to finish the flag clear.
Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL. Wait for print out. Turn back to REG mode (you may need to sign back on)

I have the same problem and neither of these solutions work. I've done them many times. I never get the FFFFFFFFF code and i never get any print out. After doing them, when i turn the register on i just get

INIT
0000000000

and pressing any button except the number buttons generates the E004 Error INIT/FC. Any other things i could try?

That just means your machine isn't waiting for a flag clear to finish. It simply has no programming at all. If it is a new machine, this is normal and it will need a MAC (init) code which you get from the programming manual. If it has been programmed before, it has a flat or faulty battery and this should be changed first or it will keep losing the code and all programming.

to restore the casio te2200 to factory condition turn the key to program while holding down journal feed. when all 0's appear in display enter 22500 then hit subtotal twice. If the machine is a te2400 use the code 20400 instead. If you want to use clerk secret numbers use 22510 or 20410 respectively.

SOURCE: plz solve my problem casio

If the register is new, this is normal, it just needs programming. Otherwise, it may have had a lock up.
Try this: Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down (may just be called FEED) - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL. Wait for print out. Turn key back to REG mode and try it.

I have a casio se-c300 keeps saying e004 tried holding feed down and turning on says bt init. it doesnt do anything until I press sub total then loads of zeros then back to e004!

That usually means it has not been initialised at the factory. your dealer should have done this before you bought it. Did you get someone to set it up for you? It is waiting for a MAC code

I am using a SE-S300 and can not clear a E001 error code!! Any ideas??

E001 = Wrong Mode, which means u had did something in another key mode but not yet done.

Solution 1 :

1. Turn the key to another position where the screen do not show E001
2. Press [Subtotal]
3. O.K

Solution 2: Flag Clear the Machine

1. Key turn to OFF
2. Keep Press [FEED]
3. Key turn to PGM
4. Release [FEED]
5. U will see "INIT 0000000000"
6. Press [Subtotal]
7. U will see "FFFFFFFFFF"
8. Wait for 10 seconds, the machine will print
9. OK

ERROR E001 & E004 PCR-T470

Hi.
You have performed the flag clear incorrectly and now the machine is trying to do an entire RAM clear. You may have already lost everything. Make sure you do not type any numbers while it is like this.

Try this:

Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
Turn power off at wall.
Hold FEED down.
Turn power on at wall.
When you see '0.00' on display, let go of RECEIPT FEED.
Press SUBTOTAL

TE-2400 error E004

Hi.
This is very serious. It means the register is about to completely clear everything (or may have done so already). If it has been sitting for a long time without power, or new out of the box, then this is normal. We can try to jump it back out of the init mode.

Follow these steps very carefully:

Turn the power off at the wall.
Turn the key to PROGRAM mode.
Hold RECEIPT FEED button down.
Turn power on at wall.
When you see the display change to 'FFFFFFFFFF' let go of RECEIPT FEED.
Press SUBTOTAL

Turn the key back to REG mode and try it. If you get error 8, then you may need to log a clerk back on.

Let me know if you have problems.
