I just got a DSI and i dont know how to so why is it not working do i have to have a cord get the wireless to work i have wireless at my house

Basically you need to have your wireless router connected to the modem via a Ethernet cable this allows the signal to be received in another part of the house via wireless signals, after you have done this turn on your ps3 and go to network settings, click connect to internet then wireless network. After you have done this make sure you have all the security settings next to you if needed.

yes you can, the DSI menu allows you to turn on wireless connection. You can only use it with a WEP secured wireless router. This means you have to set up you wireless network using WEP security not WPA security - most wireless routers will default to WPA.
The easiest way is to log onto your computer connected to you wireless router and use windows wireless network setup wizard.

To connect your DSi to the internet, you'll need access to a wireless network (from a wireless router, for example).

On your DSI you'll want to navigate to System Settings > Internet (it's on page 3) > Connection Settings. Select an empty connection to use (it'll say "None"). Select the "Search for an Access Point" option; it'll show you all available networks in range. Select yours and provide any security key/password if needed.

The nintendo dsi needs a wireless router transmitting in MIXED mode, meaning that it transmits using B mode as well as G or for newer routers N mode. If it is setup to transmit in G or N only, then the DSI will not detect it.

Also, the DSI is not compatible with WPA security. You need to set up a weaker WEP security code or turn off wifi security altogether.

Also, make sure the router is broadcasting the SSID name which is the name of the wireless router.

well first you should go to the system settings in dsi menu then put the wireless communications on then go to the internt in page 3 tap it thenchoose connection settings then choose any connection whitch appers none tap it then tap search for an accses point tap it then choose one your house and put the pass world then tap ok and all set go to the dsi browser and enjoy but if you want to go to the dsi shope you must up date dont do it its round your dsi thanks
