Most laptop sound card do not have a setting for bass and treble. You can use external powered speakers that have bass and treble settings and connect these speakers to the headphone socket on your laptop.
hi,
if u are using bose speaker system then remember one thing. go to speaker setup and select all the speakers as large not small. then only u will get a good tone. bose speakers will handle the output power of ur amplifier.
u can only adjust the bass and treble of ur frond Channel speakers. for that
select multi channel surround sound and the increase and decrease the bass and treble
ok
most of the time going through your menu options should make changing your treble T Bass B and balance/Fade if you need any help finding a manual for your model radio we can help but need the specifics
I suspect that the speaker levels need to be set. You connected everything right - many people would not have connected the sats via the bass section (which has their high pass crossover and overload protection). But I am betting the HSU is turned up a bit on the high side.
Try this. Set all speakers to small, set all levels to 0. Play the receiver in stereo all mode. If the bass is strong, you need to turn the HSU down closer to a natural sound. Then use the speaker setup tone and adjust as needed.
There are two possible methods of adjusting the bass and treble output to your Logitech R20 speakers: 1. Hardware - if you feel like experimenting or working with electronic gadgets, you can connect an external preamp with tone control or graphic equalizer between the PC and the input of the speakers/amp; and/or (probably the easiest) 2. Use a software (to listen to your music files/medium) that has a virtual equalizer such the old MusicMatch Jukebox or as an add-on/plug in.
