My disc will not eject from my Wii console. The console appears to be in working order except that the disc will not eject nor will it play. What should we do?

Sounds like the drive is broken. It's possible that the only way to get the disc out would be to take the wii apart.

Try some of these techniques too: http://www.ehow.com/video_4952307_troubleshooting-disc-stuck-nintendo-wii.html

Unable to read disc I have 20 something games it wont read any of them

Here are the steps that worked for some:
1. Completely power down the console.
2. Power up the console and get to the Wii Menu.
3. Eject any disc currently in the console.
4. Press the eject button again, without any discs in the drive.
5. Insert the disc that you would like to play.

If this doesn't work then contact Wii customer support.

I drop my nintendo wii console, and later I tried to eject the disc, but it didn't work. I could only play the game that's inside the wii.

I've seen many people with this same problem.

I think if you drop the Wii, the disc ejecter breaks or something. Then you can't eject the disc or vice versa because the ejecter is broken. Call Nintendo Customer Service (1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada) and try to get it repaired.

Disc won't eject.

When you hit eject do you hear it attempting to push out the disc? It may be blocked by something. If it is not attempting to push out the disc then something isn't registering with the eject button. In this case, power down the wii, unplug all plugs from the back, wait 90 seconds or so, plug in just the power plug and hit the eject button (before hitting power or anything else). If it still does not try to eject then either the button is broken or the disc drive in the wii has died.

It is still probably under warranty from Nintendo, they can fix it for free for you. If anything, give them a call at:

The Wii keeps ejecting the disc and we can't play on it

With the Wii Console vertical, the discs should be loaded with the shiny side to the left. If you are loading like this and all discs are being ejected, then you very probably have a problem with the Wii Console.

Not taking disks

I have the same problem but I have a solution!

If you unplug your Wii's power you can slide the disk inside. When you turn the Wii back on you should be able to play.
