Please check wiring. might some interrupted wires or bad contacts cause no picture. check also brightnes and contrast settings. also problem could be inverter defect, or fault in power supply

Hi is your television running through a foxtel box or something else that has volume control, If so you might have one or the other turned all the way down, turn both volumes up and control every thing through one remote control.....
Unplug the cable box for an hour,replug it back in.Should get the cable box to reboot to updated the softwares.Might work than,tv seem to have picture,somethings on the screen,words mean ur tv still works.
I would check the connections and cords. Other than that I wouldn't open up the TV to void the warranty. Take it back for an exchange. There should be a 90-day warranty.
The TV's front panel may be bad, manual buttons. TEMPT FIX; remove speaker, cloth covered, cover, disconnect cables. TV will work but only with remote.
