When i am playing, the game just shuts it self down. Sometimes after half an hour, or just 20 secconds. Do you have eny solutions?!....

Check for a clogged cooling fan

Possible solution, uninstall completely, reboot, making sure it's not hardware and reinstall, being sure not to install any other options during installation, sometimes they bundle other stuff, read carefully. See if that works.

if you play games with high graphics, and the free disk space is small, sometimes the tablet hangs...

Get a laptop cooler

probably the PS3 is overused, that's why it's warm. Shut it off when gets warm, or the least, after 4 - 5 hours of game play. That should help cool down the machines !

i had the same problem with my set shutting off and was told it may be the ballast so i changed that but it still would start up and shut down after a few mins, then i was asked if the bulb had been changed and i had not, so i did change the bulb and have not had it shut down yet. :) (so try a new bulb)

How long were you playing it? if you were playing for a couple of hours, then it could of just overheated, in which case the ps3 will shut itself off suddenly to keep from damaging something. It should work after about half an hour, adequate time for it to cool down, if not, then you might of damaged something.

do we really need the Sony PS3 2.43 update to fix the current 2.42?

camcorder when turned on flashes in red DEW and closes it self down. i have taken all the batteries out and replaced sometimes after a few days the camcorder will work then DEW will rea ppear and shut itself down
