How do you unblock drain hose?

Couple ways to unblock a drain hose. The easiest is probably to remove the lower panel which would give you access to the drain pump. You woulld then remove the exit drain hose leaveing the pump slowly while haveing a pan under the pump and a wetvac to **** up the water so it doesnt pour all over your floor. you would then disconnect the other drain line going to the pump and also remove the line from the exit port of the tub. Also assure that the pumps impellar is spining as well. Message me back if you have any further questions. Thank you

The pump needs to be unblocked how do i do it? its a front loader

You can check the drain filter by removing the lower front panel and the front top panel/door assembly. It may be accessible by just removing the lower panel. Once the panel is removed, you will notice a drain pump at the lower center right section of the unit with a hose running to the housing. On the front of the pump, there will be a filter twist cap. Twist and remove that cap and pull out the filter to remove any obstructions and debris that may exist. Once you have achieved a good cleansing, replace the filter cap and assemble the panel. Try to initiate a cycle. If the cleansing of the filter does not correct the spin out, this will confirm that the issues are serious and it will isolate the motor control board as the lone culprit.

Here is a picture of the filter cap and pump.

Water won't drain away - how do we get to the punp to unblock it please? Nothing in manual to help. Thank you, Jenny

Jenny, you did not list a brand so we are unable to help 100%

Most access is from the rear panel, but often easier to access by turning machine on its side and coming in from the bottom. Follow the hose from the outlet to the pump and undo the clamps on in and out as blockages occur on both sides. After removal of any matter in the pipes, flush hoses from both ends to ensure flow. Connect inlet hose to pump and run some water through pump with drain hose disconnected to ensure pump is also clean. replace outlet hose and make sure clamps are done up tight otherwise they will leak.
Stand machine back upright and test.

My pump has got blocked how do i dismantle to unblock it model number sgs43a22gb

Hello. Get a phillips head screwdriver, size #2. Remove the lower front panel on the dishwasher by removing the screws, commonly 2 or 4. Once in, look for the drain hose which will be connected near the floor level to the pump. Disconnect the drain hose, expect two or so cups of water so be prepared for that. Then remove the pump by unscrewing it from the frame. You will find the blockage in the pump. Good luck with it. And please rate my answer. Thanks.
